Some of the MKH friends took part at the recent Pesta roadrace and criterium. All completed safely eventhough there is a a crash at the finishing line on the Sunday’s Criterium (veteran Category) where 5 of our friends took part. Azizan took a very 4th placing in the Veteran road race despite being misdirected ayt the Pulau Betong Junction. More photos can be viewed at http://www.flickr.com/photos/14692610@N03/?saved=1

MKH Secretary
Many asked who is the one maintaining MKHKayuh blog and interesting enough some MKH riders don’t even know its existence. Well it still not too late to introduce our secretary and the only lady rider, she is none other than SL Cheah (SL= SuperLight, SuperLong Distance or whatever you can think off) . She was originally from Kuala Kangsar but live in Penang for the last 13 years. She has an amazing athlete profile in recent years from running and cycling. She did her first marathon in 4.30 and her longest ride is ~265km. She has done several 200+km rides with the group and is hell of a climber. Her leisure time up Penang hill is 50++ min and in her only up hill race(BM Hill) she not only came first among the ladies, she also beat men the leading senior veteran. Amazing athlete but chooses not to race extensively. Currently taking some time off from long workouts to make way for other life priorities but she vow on her return…and we very much treasure her return and company….. MKH mates (courtesy of Danny)
Round Cameron ride - Jan 6th 2008
Day trip: Loop from Simpang Pulai - Tapah - Brincang - Kampung Raja - Simpang Pulai. For more info please contact Lee.

Pinang Tunggal ride sharing.....
Dec 9th 2008, it is our normal weekly ride at Kulim. A very rare moment for the group to stroll around at a leisure pace enjoying the views. No disagreement with Kulim Lee and Khalib leading the pack at sub 20kmh
Chong Meng with his expensive equipment plus 2 normal and 2 extra large fuel tanks that dropped twice in the 100km ride. Wonder what else will drop if the ride is longer.
Joke of the day : Chong Meng did not know MKH website existed, he only know backside exist.

King of the Mountain - Jamboree 2007
After a bike accident, admitted to ICU with fractured ribs and broken collarbone and bedridden for 2 weeks+, just recently started to ride again and still he beat the others jamboree riders with only a bit of sweat to be the 1st to reach the top of Penang Hill - Danny Khaw, is officially titled KING of the mountain in yesterday Jamboree. HURRAY.... another celebration. This is similar to Lance Armstrong emerged to be the TdF winner after his gruesome cancer treatment.
On top of that, some MKH kaki went to join Singapore marathon on the same day as well. And they have good timing with close to sub 4 hours. Excellent Job guys!
After hearing all these news, the MKH secratary feel so cacat now. sob sob sob....
