Sat Nov 1 MTB ride (MTB)

Route : Sg Ara - Bukit Gambir Hill (Climb) - Paya Terubong - Air Itam Dam Cement trail (Steep Climb) - Iron Cross(Climb) - Titi Kerawang - Balik Pulau - Sg Ara (Climb Pondok Upeh trail) . Starting from : Sg Ara at 7.30am and 7.50 from Junction of Bukit Gambir. Take note and be prepared of the 4 major climbs. For more info call Danny (012-430-5049)

Saturday Nov 1 ride in Penang

Round Island ride starting at 7.15 from E Park. This be a slow ride..so for those who have been hibernating... this is your chance. Contact Peng Soon(019-5557609) for more details. Can also arrange for on the route meeting point too, typically Shell Greenlane and Gurney drive traffic lights leading to Tg Tokong. There might be another MTB (offroad) ride to be announced later today (Friday).

Sunday Nov 2 Kulim road ride

Route Kulim-Kuala Pegang. Distance around 140-150km. Starting place: Jabatan Hutan at 730 am. Pls be on time if you wish to join.

Oct 27 Depavali ride - small turnout and full of mechanical challenges

We have a relatively small turnup for the Depavali ride compared to day befora...Actually only 7 riders including a first timer to mkh rides, welcome Nizam from Junjong. Change ride route to Bukit hijau-Mahang-Selama covering 116km. Even with only 7 riders we have 2 mechanical stoppages with one puncture and the other wheel problem that requires backup vehicle support.

Oct 26 Kulim Air Puteh + Maverick's KT Cycletron official opening

About 3o riders turned up for the relatively short 85km ride before proceding to Maverick's KT Cycletron official opening. We also have couple of first time joiners... warm welcome from MKH...

Oct 25 MTB ride report

Lots of climbing for the day ie. 4 hills (5 for some) including newly discovered up hill trail in Balik Pulau. Lots of unspoilt nature,beautiful sceneries and experience riding across streams! Will be visiting that part of the island for many weeks to come. Other than one minor casualty due to damp trail we have an unexpected treat of nature.

Update for the Nov 16 Cameron ride

As proposed earlier the one day-one loop Cameron ride is on. There are are other groups of riders that have confirm participation. The ride will start at 730am sharp from Simpang Pulai. There will be NO WAITING for late comers. So if you do not want to cycle on your own pls be ready before 730am, ride starts ON TIME.

For those who intend to stay in Ipoh on saturday Nov 15 and need accomodation pls confirm by this sunday/monday's ride.

Pls note that you need to make self arrangements for rider and bicycle transport.

Distance is 180+ km and approx 80-90KM uphill so important to pace yourself

Since it is raining everyday, we will have a moderate ride on more established trails this saturday. Starting point Air itam market at 745am. Route: Air Itam market to Dam (trail road) - Balik Pulau - Tun Sardon(half way) and off road to Sg Ara. We will stop for Breakfast at Balik Pulau market. for more info call Danny

Double road ride this weekend and Deepavali

Oct 26 - road ride to Air Puteh aka five hill ride. starting from Jabatan hutan at 730am. the MKH group will proceed to Maverick's shop official opening by 1pm

Oct 27(Monday) road ride to Batu Kurau (150+ km), atarting at 7.30am from jabatan hutan
